Youth Week at the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex
Date: May 1-7, annually
Description: From May 1-7, throughout the week, youth ages 13 and up are welcome to drop in to the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex for completely free to swim, use the fitness centre (ages 16 and up) or sign out discs for use in the adjacent Boitanio Park Disc Golf Course. Stay tuned to CMRC socials for more specific happening throughout the week.
The Golden Buckle Hunt
Date: Each May, annually
Time: All month
Description: Grab your family and friends and slap on some hikers for the annual month-long GOLDEN BUCKLE HUNT where four buckles will be hidden (one per week) on local trails around Williams Lake at four different locations beginning May 1.
Each week, the hunt will take you along new trails or hikes around Williams Lake.
Visit the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex’s social media pages for a new clue each week that will lead you to the buckle. Once you find the buckle, take a selfie and email it to recreation@williamslake.ca no later than Sunday at 11:59 pm each week to be entered into the grand prize draw.
